Community Nebraska Nature Experience

Service Description

Inspired by the prairies & ecosystems we have right outside our windows, Nebraska Nature is a hands-on learning experience that connects local landscapes, literature, and open-ended art. Best suited for: * Ages 4- 2nd Grade (adaptable for mixed ages) * Schools, libraries, museums, or cultural spaces * Small group or family-centered experiences * Families seeking something meaningful rather than performative Experience length: 75–90 minutes Group size: Up to 25 children (families) What’s included: * Storytime of a Nebraska-based picture book + other picture books available for browsing. * A guided nature foraging experience with keepsake baskets for children * Multiple open-ended art activities inspired by both stories with natural & recycled materials * Space for conversation, reflection, and sharing (each child will get a chance to share their artwork) * Each experience includes a parent handout and teacher swag to support continued learning and community connection beyond the event. * All art materials and supplies provided * Thoughtful setup and full cleanup handled by Ms. Megan
